Richard J Rybarczyk passed away peacefully at his home on July 22, 2026 to be with The Lord.

Richard was born July 3, 1948 in Mercy Hospital to Jacob and Hedwig (Hattie Orzechowski) Rybarczyk in Toledo, Ohio.

Richard graduated from Macomber High School in 1966. He also had attended The University of Toledo at a later date. He was employed 38 years by the former UAW Gerity-Schultz Corporation, as the quality control engineer producing zinc die castings, main body carburetors for Holley Carburetor until they closed their doors in 2004. He met his wife there in 1971, later to be married in 1981.

Richard enjoyed fishing, golfing and Nascar many years ago, but music was his joy. He was a very big fan of Neil Diamond and polka music in his younger days and The Gaither Family Christian music in these later years. His many dogs and many cats, rabbit, duck and chicken were his kids through the years.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Jacob and Hattie Rybarczyk; Delores Rybarczyk Palicki, Darlene Rybarczyk Zawacki, Jacqueline Rybarczyk Zeno, Mary Rybarczyk Hicks.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Marilyn (Bauman) Rybarczyk and his dogs, Montana and Kimber, and many nephews and nieces, both great and great-great.

There will be a Memorial Service on August 4, 2026 at The Newcomer Funeral Home at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. with visitation from 10:00 a.m until 12:00 noon, at which time the Memorial Service will begin and officiated by Pastor Steve Hobbins of Lewis Avenue Baptist Church where he attended before he became disabled.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date for family and friends.
