Richard "Rick" Bockleman, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on October 1, 1959, in Toledo, Ohio, Rick spent his life impacting the lives of those around him through his career, his passions, and his deep sense of family.

Rick's professional journey was primarily centered in the HVAC industry, where he dedicated many years working for Fifth Third and S&G, among other employers. His commitment to his work was evident, and he earned the respect and admiration of colleagues throughout his career.

In the spirit of life’s unpredictable twists, Rick found love later in his journey. He married Cheryl "Renee" Bockelman on July 7, 1997, after meeting at Renee's sister's wedding. Their union brought joy and companionship, and together they nurtured a loving family that carried on Rick's legacy.

Rick was a passionate sports enthusiast, with a particular love for football, supporting Ohio State Buckeyes and the Washington Redskins (now known as the Commanders). His enthusiasm extended to Nascar racing and fishing, activities that brought him immense joy and served as a way to unwind and connect with nature.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl "Renee" Bockelman; son, Richard "Ricky" Bockelman; stepchildren Rachel Quintana and Jessica Bateman; sister Karen Bockelman; grandson Gavin Bockelman; as well as many step-grandchildren and a great-grandchild, all of whom will carry fond memories of Rick in their hearts.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mary Bockelman, and his sister, Sandra Bockelman. Their memories will forever be cherished by his family as they navigate this profound loss.

Rick Bockleman will be remembered not only for his accomplishments in life but for the warmth he offered to everyone he met. His legacy of love, laughter, and sportsmanship will continue to resonate within his family and friends for years to come. May he rest in peace.

Services will be held at a later date.
