Richard F. Hrebic Jr.

Richard F. Hrebic Jr., born on February 18, 1949, in Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, in his beloved hometown. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, whose love for his family knew no bounds.

Richard dedicated himself to his family’s well-being, taking on various jobs throughout his life to ensure they had the best possible. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having served overseas in Vietnam, a testament to his commitment to his country and the values he held dear.

Known for his lively spirit, Richard was a man who loved to dance and spread joy wherever he went. His humor, caring nature, and zest for life made a lasting impression on all who knew him. He delighted in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was camping under the stars, sharing coffee with friends, or taking long rides on his motorcycle. Richard also had a passion for cooking, often whipping up delicious meals for his family and friends.

One of Richard's proudest accomplishments was his role as a grandfather. He took immense pride in his grandchildren—Rico, Jayden, Gavin, Justin, and Xander—and loved to boast about their achievements to anyone who would listen. His warmth and encouragement will forever be cherished by them.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Connie Hrebic; his sons Richard Hrebic III, Jason Hrebic and wife Tami, and Chad Hrebic and wife Melinda; his cherished grandchildren; and his beloved sisters, Mary Ann Buck and Debbie Hrebic. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Maria Zapata, brother-in-law Izzy Castillo, and a host of extended family and friends who will deeply miss his presence.

The legacy of Richard F. Hrebic Jr. lives on through the love and memories he created with his family and friends, and his spirit will forever remain in their hearts.
