Rhonye “Mr. Good Bar” Darrel Lincoln was born on September 13, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio, to Lonnie and Obie (Phason) Lincoln. On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, Rhonye departed this life peacefully at Toledo Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Obie Lincoln; grandparents, Obie and Essie Phason, and Jim and Lizzie (Gullet) Lincoln; his brother, Terry A. Lincoln Sr.; his daughter, Mattie Lincoln; and his sons, Errick and Derick Lincoln.
Rhonye gave his life to Christ in 1953 at The Greater St. Mary’s Baptist Church, a commitment that would shape his journey. He graduated from Edward D. Libbey High School and later built a successful career at Daimler Chrysler Corporation, retiring in 2005.
Known to many as “Mr. Good Bar,” Rhonye was full of life, energy, and unforgettable charm. He had two great loves outside of his family—riding motorcycles and fishing. There was nothing quite like the freedom of the open road for Rhonye. With the wind in his face and the rumble of the engine beneath him, he felt most alive. He wasn’t just a rider—he was a founding member of the Ohio Players Motorcycle Club and was connected with the Knight Riders , where his presence was both respected and admired.
When he wasn’t on his bike, Rhonye could often be found by the water with a fishing rod in hand. Fishing wasn’t just a hobby—it was his peace, his joy, and his way to reconnect with the world. Whether it was a quiet lake or a busy pier, Rhonye was always in his element when casting a line.
He lived life fully, fearlessly, and without regret. To those who didn’t know him well, his time here may seem too short. But to those who truly knew “Mr. Good Bar,” he filled every moment with meaning, laughter, and unforgettable times.
Rhonye leaves behind a loving family: daughters Karen Lincoln and Stephanie (Mike) Huggins; sons Raymond, Randall Lincoln, and one other who wishes to remain anonymous; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. His legacy is also carried on by dear friends Farice McCann (“Fazzo Mac”), Joel Hollingsworth, and Jerome Parker—brothers in spirit who shared in his ride through life.
Rhonye “Mr. Good Bar” Lincoln’s journey may have ended here, but the road he traveled, the fish he caught , and the stories he told will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
Ride on, Rhonye. The road ahead is wide open.
