Rebecca M. Smith-Wambold, lovingly known as Becky, passed away on October 1, 2025, at Genacross Wolf Creek. Born on March 24, 1953, in Middletown, Ohio, she was a remarkable woman whose presence brightened the lives of many.

Becky dedicated a significant part of her life to a career in retail, where she worked at various establishments over the years. Her work ethic and friendly demeanor made her a beloved figure among customers and colleagues alike.

In addition Becky was deeply passionate about her hobbies and interests. She had a heartfelt collection of Santa Claus figurines and little ducks which adorned her car's dashboard, symbols of her playful spirit. A true fan of Mickey Mouse, Becky found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was also an avid bowler, finding excitement and camaraderie in the sport, and her love for the outdoors often drew her to camping adventures.

One of Becky's proudest accomplishments was marrying her husband, Arthur Wambold, in the Great Smoky Mountains in 2000. This union brought immense joy to her life and was a testament to the love they shared.

Becky's family was a cornerstone of her life. She is survived by her loving husband Arthur Wambold; her sons Benjamin, Michael, and Redden (Amber) Smith; and an adoring family that includes 14 grandchildren and one great-grandson. She is also mourned by her brother, Martin (Sandi) Huffman. Becky is preceded in death by her parents, Madge (Pratt) and Alfred Huffman, as well as her infant daughter. 

Becky will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her love ones.
