Raymond R. Willard

Raymond R. Willard, age 72, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away on January 15, 2026. Born in Toledo on December 24, 1953, he was the son of Leslie W. and Rosemary (Pluciniczak) Willard.

Ray enjoyed a fulfilling career as a manager at Gander Mountain in Holland, where he dedicated many years before retiring in 2018. He cherished the moments spent with his family, especially with his beloved grandsons, Bowden and Beckett. Ray had a passion for fishing, was an avid supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes, and held a special affection for animals, particularly dogs.

He is survived by his son, Bill (Nikki) Willard; his grandsons, Bowden and Beckett; his siblings, Dave (Jan) Bray, Leslie (Phil) Skidmore, Joe Willard, Michael Willard as well as his nephews, Jacob and Christopher, and his nieces, Kaylee and Stephanie. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Jordan, and his parents. 

Ray's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed.  Services will be private.
