Ranee J. "Eah" Bennett

Ranee J. "Eah" Bennett, resident of Toledo, OH, passed away on November 5, 2025 at age 70. Ranee was born to the late Gene and Dolores Griss (Dean). She was the beloved wife of Larry, for 49 years, whom preceded her in death in 2024. She was the adored Mom of Tiffany Koprowski and Brooke (Brian) Gump and treasured "Eah" of Owen Gump, Olivia Koprowski, Ashton Koprowski, Averey Koprowski, and Tegan (Nick) Hoffman. Cherished Aunt of Jeff, Audra, Austin, Chase, Kelly, Kim, Krista, Kasey, Danielle and Ean. Favorite sister to Marsha (Chuck) Smith and Leslie Johnson. Preceded in death by her twin sister Rama and brother Corey (Julie).Ranee also leaves behind many more family members, nieces and nephews, as well as dear friends.

Ranee was a 1973 graduate of Springfield High School. After graduation, Ranee earned a license in cosmetology and worked in various salons until she had her girls. Ranee had the luxury of being able to stay home and raise her family. Not only did she raise her own kids, she had a hand in helping raise many others. Throughout the years, she babysat many family and friends children and treated every one of them as her own. Ranee also had a love for photography and spent many years helping Larry with team pictures for local youth sports teams.

Ranee was an avid Toledo Walleye fan and would spend many weekends with her family attending games. She also loved the sunshine and being outside. She spent many hours poolside, at the lake or tending to her flowers in the front yard. She enjoyed family dinners, and one thing was for sure, you never left hungry from Ranee's house. She cooked for anyone that would sit down at her kitchen table!

Ranee’s most cherished time was supporting and cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting events. She never missed a game at the hockey rink, soccer field, or softball diamond.

Ranee will be missed by many, but we know she is back together with Larry and they will be watching over us from above. A visitation will be held on: Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel at 4150 West Laskey Road Toledo, OH 43623.
