Randy L. Kirkendall

Randy Lee Kirkendall, age 71, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born January 9, 1954 in Toledo to William and Theresa (Wood) Kirkendall.

Randy was a graduate of Libbey High School and enjoyed a 31 year career as an end-of-line operator at the Toledo Jeep Assembly Plant. He was a devoted sports fan who loved cheering on the Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings, along with the Ohio State Buckeyes.

In addition to his parents, Randy was also preceded in death by his brothers, Gary and Bill Kirkendall and sister, Laura Fisher. He is survived by his wife, Sallie Kirkendall; daughters, Lindsey Cunningham and Stephanie Kirkendall; grandchildren, Tyler, Jaelynne and Emma Cunningham; brother, Tracy (Cheryl) Kirkendall and sister, Sue Thomasson.

The family will receive guests Monday, November 3, 2025 from 1 to 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Flower and Toledo Hospitals, Cleveland Clinic, and Hospice of NW Ohio for their exceptional care and compassion.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Randy's memory.
