Randall "Randy" James Franklin

Randall "Randy" James Franklin, age 68, of Whitehouse, passed away September 17, 2026 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born October 21, 1957 in Toledo to Benjamin and Patricia (Smith) Franklin. He grew up in Toledo, graduated from Whitmer High School and completed multiple classes at the University of Toledo. Randy owned and operated his own Car and RV Sales businesses. The happiest times of his life were when he married Kim in 1980 and when his two boys were born. He enjoyed classic cars, motorcycles, boating, camping, fishing, Florida sunshine, trips to the Smokey Mountains with his family, and dog Toby.

Randy was a loving husband, father, big brother, a loyal friend and inspirational entrepreneur. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kim Franklin, sons, Nathan Franklin and Christopher Franklin; siblings, Sandy Franklin, Tammy Wagner (John) and Steve Franklin (Jeanne). Randy was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents Shelby and Dorothy Franklin, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive guests, Monday, September 28th from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Memorial Services will begin Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
