Ramona F. Barboza, resident of Toledo, OH, passed away on April 14, 2024 at age 95. Daughter of the late Venancio and Consuelo Ceniceros. Devoted wife of the late Ramon Barboza. Beloved mother of Robert (Tina) Barboza, Connie (the late Raphael) Tapia, and the late Raymond (still living, Sally) Barboza. Adored grandmother of Dean (Marci) Barboza, Jennifer (Bel) Baskey, Lisa Barboza, Michael (Danielle) Baskey, Jessica Barboza, Vincent Barboza, Garrett Barboza, Melinda (Jeff) Carmona, and the late Robert Barboza Jr. Treasured great grandmother to many and a great great grandmother of 4. Sister of Angela Garwolinski, Vincent Ceniceros Jr., and the late Joseph Ceniceros, Phyllis Frias, Lucy Macias, Sally Paniagua, and Margie Cantu. Ramona also leaves behind several close friends, whom she loved dearly.
Ramona enjoyed the fun things in life, like shopping, dancing and eating at restaurants (can't forget the margaritas!). She was an active member of Latins United here in Toledo. Ramona will be dearly missed by her family and friends. One of her favorite things to do was to spend time with her family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southwest Chapel at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH 43614.
A funeral service will take place the following day, Monday, April 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., with visiting beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southwest Chapel at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH 43614.
