Phyllis Ann Adams, a cherished mother, grandmother, and beloved wife, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026, in Toledo, Ohio. Born on November 3, 1938, in Erie, Michigan, Phyllis lived a life full of warmth, kindness, and dedication to family and community.

A graduate of Monroe High School in 1957, Phyllis carried the values of her upbringing into every chapter of her life. She devoted many years to working as a bank teller, where her friendly nature and welcoming smile made a lasting impression on colleagues and customers alike. Beyond her career, Phyllis found joy in a variety of hobbies that enriched her days—bowling, archery, dancing, camping, fishing, and traveling were all passions she pursued with enthusiasm. Every winter, she delighted in trips to Florida, embracing the sunshine and the renewal it brought.

One of her proudest accomplishments was shooting an archery exhibition at the Monroe County Fair, a testament to her skill and dedication. Additionally, she was a devoted member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for over 25 years, where she found friendship and fellowship.

Phyllis’s personality was radiant and welcoming. She was notably active, with a love for playing cards—pinochle, euchre, shuffleboard—and an especially deep love for dancing. Her spirited presence at gatherings was a source of joy to many who knew her.

Family was at the heart of Phyllis’s life. She treasured spending time with her grandchildren, babysitting them often when they were young and reveling in their laughter and company. Her nearly 45 years of marriage to her loving husband Roger was a cornerstone of her happiness and strength.

Though we mourn her passing, Phyllis’s memory lives on vibrantly through her living family members: her husband Roger; son Michael Milletti; daughter Diane (Mark) Faylor; stepdaughters Maria Langridge, Karena Adams, and Jodi Roach; grandchildren Jenelle, Aaron, Dorian, Denrick, Raeann, Brittany, Kelcie, Adam, and Brandon (surviving); her seven great-grandchildren; and her sister Barbara Kinney. Their love and shared memories stand as a tribute to the loving matriarch they will forever hold dear.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Bernice Eighmey; her first husband, Fred Milletti; siblings Arlene, Warren, Lucille, Loretta, Clayton, Patricia, and her twin brother Phillip; and grandchildren Brandon and Terah.

A visitation to honor and remember Phyllis will take place on May 19, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Toledo, located at 4150 W Laskey Rd in Toledo, Ohio. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her. The family wishes to thank the Ohio Living Hospice especially nurses Ann and Connie for their care and support.
