Born on September 19, 1969, in Willoughby, Ohio, Phil was a devoted father, grandfather, and son, known for his unwavering work ethic and generous spirit.

For many years, Phil dedicated himself to his role as a driver for 10 Roads Express out of Toledo, where he was admired for his diligence and commitment. He approached every task with the same passion he brought to his family life, always believing in the importance of hard work.

Phil was more than just a dedicated worker; he was the ultimate Dad Joke creator, effortlessly bringing smiles and laughter to family gatherings and everyday moments. He had a knack for making people laugh and enjoyed sharing his humor with everyone around him. His kind and forgiving nature made him a beacon of positivity in the lives of those who had the honor of knowing him.

Among his fond memories, riding dirt bikes and ATVs with family and friends stands out, showcasing the joy he found in sharing adventures with his loved ones. Phil experienced sheer delight when taking his children to Cedar Point, witnessing their excitement during their first roller coaster rides, moments that are now cherished as treasured memories.

Phil’s love for his family was boundless, especially for his grandkids, Zachary, Dalton, and Wyatt. Each moment spent with them brought him immense joy and pride, embodying his greatest accomplishments as a loving Dad and Papa. He was known as a stand-up man by his friends, a reflection of his integrity and the genuine connections he fostered.

Phil's interests were diverse and reflected his adventurous spirit. He immersed himself in hobbies that included martial arts, motorcycles, and the collection of knives, guns, and swords. Known for his signature black attire, he had a flair for the dramatic while also identifying with the warmth of good meals and family time.

He is survived by his loving daughter Niccole Spallino and her husband Vince, another cherished daughter Madison Ricker and her husband Denny, his son Kaden Fox and wife Chelsea, and his daughter Kasiah Fox along with her significant other Matthew Stewart. Phil’s beloved mother, Lynn Kauffman, continues to carry forward the love and strength he exhibited throughout his life. His partner, Christy Woodall, stood by him and shared in his journey.
