Paula Marie Bayles

Paula Marie Bayles, born on May 25, 1949, in Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2026, at Elizabeth Scott Community. Paula’s life was marked by dedication to family, a strong work ethic, and an abiding love for animals and the simple joys of everyday life.

Paula was the cherished daughter of the late Harry Keller and Lillian Keller. She grew up in Toledo, where the bonds of family shaped her deeply caring nature. She is survived by her loving sister, Vicki (Tom) Hilty, and her devoted brother, James (Brenda) Keller. Paula’s extended family also holds her memory close, including her beloved nieces and nephews. Among them, her great nephew Elliott held a special place in her heart; Paula delighted in their time together, especially when he would bring her pictures he had colored, affectionately addressing her as "Auntie Peeps." Paula had many dear friends whom she remained close to over the years considering them family. Her nurturing spirit and devotion to family and friends created cherished memories and lasting bonds with all her loved ones.

Professionally, Paula started a career as a banker and over the years it lead her into other professional settings, where her diligence and integrity earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike. Beyond her career, she found tranquility and joy in riding horses and was an avid animal lover, tending to her dogs and cats with gentleness and care that reflected her warm heart.

Paula’s life was made meaningful through her ability to create joy in everyday moments, particularly with her family. Her love for her nieces and nephews was profound, and her enthusiasm for connecting with them was evident to all who knew her. She nurtured those relationships with thoughtfulness, patience, and a generous spirit.
