Patrick Kwiatkowski

Patrick Kwiatkowski, born on March 6, 1940, in Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, leaving behind a lifetime of memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of his loved ones. A dedicated butcher by trade for 64 years. 

Patrick was an adventurous spirit, known for his fun-loving and sociable demeanor. His zest for life shone brightly as he engaged in various hobbies and interests, including bowling, fishing, hunting, golf, and the enjoyment of watching horses at the track. He often spent joyful hours playing darts and cards with family and friends, but was best known for his love for racing pigeons. 

For 35 consecutive years, he and those close to him continued a beloved tradition of visiting Fletcher's Pond in Alpena, MI creating lasting memories that will be treasured for generations to come.

Patrick was also renowned for his culinary skills, particularly for crafting exceptional homemade Polish kielbasa, especially during the holidays. He took pride in his culinary creations, which became a staple of festive gatherings.

A proud entrepreneur, Patrick’s determined nature was evident in both his career and personal pursuits. He started several business's including Shivers Ice Cream. He received his education from St. Anthony's Grade School and Macomber High School.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Janice Kwiatkowski, and his cherished daughter, Diane Williams (Alec Schaller), grandson James Williams, his siblings, Linda (Frank) Bobroski, David Kwiatkowski (Betty) and his sister-in-law, Sandy Kwiatkowski as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Patrick was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Charlie and Sally Kwiatkowski, and his brother, Timothy Kwiatkowski.

Patrick Kwiatkowski’s life was a celebration of family, tradition, and community. His adventurous spirit and loving nature have left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him. He will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Visitation will be held on August 5, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Toledo, located at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, Ohio 43614.
