It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Cornelison, affectionately known as "Pat," who left this world on September 9, 2025, in Toledo, Ohio. Born on September 16, 1952, in Sylvania, Ohio, Pat brought joy and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a devoted Medical Assistant and Medical Coder, dedicating her career to helping others until her retirement in November of 2022.

Pat was not only dedicated to her work but also to the beauty of life through her passions. She had a boundless spirit, illuminated by her big smile and infectious laughter. Engaging in her garden brought her immense joy, where she thrived in tending to her flowers and plants. She cherished the time spent playing with her beloved dog, Ramsey, who was a cherished companion.

Her interests extended beyond the garden, as she had a deep love for horses and a knack for creating memorable moments with her family. Although cooking was not her favorite pastime, she delighted in preparing Thanksgiving dinners for her loved ones, often crafting her renowned pumpkin pie that will be fondly remembered by family for generations to come.

Pat is survived by her loving son, David (Karen) Cornelison, and her cherished daughter, Jennifer (Ben) Mason. The legacy of her love lives on in her grandchildren: Jackie (Mike) Cannings, Randy (Lynzi) Owens, Thomas (Hayley) Cornelison, Morgan Cox, Alex Cox, and Charles Cox. She was also a proud great-grandmother, leaving behind a sparkling array of joy through Michael and Mariah Cannings; Carly, Cali, and Carson Owens; Ivy, Amelia, and Aspen Cornelison; and Blake and Maya Howard.

Pat is remembered as a sister to Robert "Bob" Tatro, Michael Tatro, Jerilyn "Jo Jo" Walters and Nancy McGee, and holds a special place in the hearts of her family and friends. She joins her beloved husband, David Cornelison Sr., as well as her dear parents, Marie Tatro (nee Maxwell) and Robert Tatro Sr., in eternal rest. Pat is also reunited with her brothers, Jeff, Gary, and her sister, Paula.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Sunday September 14, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in Northwest Toledo, located at 4150 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH 43623.

Pat's radiant spirit and unwavering love will forever echo in the memories and hearts of her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and the importance of cherishing family moments. We take comfort in knowing that she is at peace and will continue to watch over her family, forever a guiding star in their lives.
