Patricia A. "Pat" Briner

Patricia A. “Pat Briner age 86 of Maumee, Ohio passed away on June 16, 2025. She was born in Napoleon, OH on June 17, 1938 to J. Herbert and Josephine (Louella) Durham.

Pat was a poll worker for the Lucas County Board of Elections for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren; gardening, cooking, baking and traveling with her husband.

Surviving are her sons, Randy, Jeff and David Jr.; granddaughters, Marlow (Josh) Schwaiger and Ariel Briner; great-grandchildren, Michael, Riley, Degan and Zane and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her grand-dogs, Stuart, Oliver and Lucas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dave “Tub” Briner Sr. and sisters, Sally Rising and Marilyn Wittes.

The family would like to say a special thanks to the staff at Elizabeth Scott Care Center and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the exceptional care our mother received in her last days.

Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home (SW Chapel) 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo on Monday, June 23, 2025 from 3:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Heath Cemetery in Colton, OH.
