Paddy Jean Elson

Paddy Jean Elson, 94, of Jerome, Michigan, passed away on May 2, 2026. She was born on September 21, 1931, in Toledo, Ohio, to Earl and Martha Feltman. 

Paddy is survived by her children, Thomas (Betty) Hass, Judy (Ed) Lacey, and David Hass; and six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary; her husband, Richard; her parents; and her sister, Gerry.

Paddy was primarily a homemaker and later in life held various jobs, but she was most known for her deep desire to help and care for others. Her legacy includes her exceptional cooking ability and her special recipes that will be passed down for generations to come. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, at her home on the lake. 

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at The Church on Strayer, 3000 Strayer Rd., Maumee, OH with Pastor Tony Scott officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to “The Church on Strayer,” in Paddy's memory.
