Nimree Razouk, 80, went home to be with our Lord on Friday, January 26, 2024, at Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Nimree was born in Aita El-Foukhar, Lebanon, to Michael and Namora Haddad and immigrated with her family to the United States in 1967. She met and married Moufeed Razouk of Detroit, Michigan and together they raised their daughter Rema.
Nimree was a faithful Christian and attended St. George Church in Troy, Michigan for years.
Nimree loved her family and doted on her grandchildren. She was very loving and very generous. She gave from the heart, always willing to help someone in need. She was a great cook and loved to make everyone's favorite meal. She had a good heart and welcomed everyone into her home. She was always ready with a meal and a smile. She was amazing with a crochet hook and knitting needles and enjoyed her time at the community center with the seniors.
Nimree was preceded in death by her husband, Moufeed; her parents; and her brothers-in-law, Edward Mitri, Todd Hamlin and Raoul Kowalewski. She is survived by her daughter, Rema Tourfa (Sam); her grandchildren Jacob, Habib, Emma and Ali; brother, Nicholas Haddad; sisters, Najah Seaman (Jim), Sabah Mitri and Rhonda Hamlin; and nine nieces and nephews.
She was dearly loved by family and friends, and her loving spirit and sense of humor will be greatly missed. Nimree, you will be in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be held at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral, 3754 Woodley Road, Toledo, Ohio 43606, on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with Trisagion prayers at 7:00 p.m and Friday, February 2, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. and interment at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
