Nancy Dawn Schloegl

Nancy Dawn Schloegl, age 87, of Pemberville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, at Otterbein Pemberville SeniorLife Community. She was born on January 2, 1939.

Nancy was the beloved wife of George Schloegl, with whom she shared more than 60 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 2018. Together they enjoyed an active and fulfilling life, spending time with friends, traveling, camping, and socializing at the Bavarian Sports Club. Their love and companionship created many cherished memories for family and friends.

Known for her quiet, caring, and compassionate nature, Nancy touched the lives of many through her kindness and gentle spirit. She found great joy in spending time with those she loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Nancy is survived by her loving sons, David Schloegl and Scott (Mary) Schloegl; nieces, Renee McClain and Jill Schloegl; nephews, Marty Schloegl and Russ Cooper; sister-in-law, Gail Schloegl; three step-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, George Schloegl, in 2018; and her lifelong friend, Nancy Miller Wilcox.

Family and friends may gather to honor and celebrate Nancy's life on Thursday, July 30, 2026, with a visitation from 11am to 1pm. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3655 King Road, Toledo, Ohio 43617. Interment to follow at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.

Nancy's family will forever treasure the memories of her warmth, devotion, and unwavering love. Her legacy of kindness, compassion, and friendship will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
