Nancy Ann Meyer

Nancy Ann (Urbanski) Meyer, age 85, of Whitehouse, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026, surrounded by her cherished family and friends. Born on June 22, 1940, in Holland, Ohio, to Clem and Helen Urbanski, Nancy lived a life full of love and devotion.

On July 5, 1958, Nancy married James A. Meyer Sr., the love of her life, and together they shared 57 wonderful years. Nancy’s passions included cake decorating, caring for flowers and birds, and enjoying visits to garage sales and the casino. She was also a 4-H advisor and treasured her annual time spent at the Lucas County Fair.

Nancy is lovingly remembered by her children, Susan Stram and Anthony Meyer, and her sister, Sharon Miller. She was a devoted grandmother to Monica (William), James, Alexandria (Austin), and Skyann (Robbie), and a proud great-grandmother to Arabella, Dylan, and little James. Nancy’s warm heart extended to her beloved pets, Rascal and Peekaboo, and her great-grand-pups Levi, Lincoln, Athena, Hemmy, and Poseidon, who all will miss being spoiled by her endless treats.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James, daughter Laurie, son James Jr., and siblings Robert, James, and Gary.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Community of Christ Lutheran Church, 6517 Finzel Rd., Whitehouse, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in Nancy’s memory. Her kind spirit and joyful presence will be dearly missed and warmly remembered by all who knew her.
