Nancy Carol Carper

Nancy Carper, age 84 of Toledo, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Saturday June 14, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born in Monroe, Michigan to her parents Martha (Moyer) and Louis Hoffman.

Nancy graduated from Monroe High School in 1958. She worked at a nursery, gas company and eventually at Monroe Bank and Trust where she stayed for twenty years in the trust department. She started her own arts and craft business in 1990 until her retirement in 2016. She loved cooking, gardening and studying genealogy for 50 years. Nancy was into antiques and collectibles and loved to show people how to sew material. She was a long-time member of the Toledo Arts and Craft Guild and served on her High School Reunion committee for many years.

Nancy married Arnold Norton on October 15, 1966 in Ida, Michigan and remarried again on June 22, 1986 to Charles Carper.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her brother. She leaves to cherish her memory her only child David Norton. Also survived by her sister, Linda Wilcox from Indiana.

Services will be private and a celebration of life will be held at the Senior Citizen Center in Monroe, Michigan on July 8th, 2025 from 11:30am-2:00pm.Donations can be made directly to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
