In Loving Memory of Miguel Rodriguez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Miguel Rodriguez—beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend—who departed this life on August 30, 2025, at the age of 73. He now rejoins the love of his life, Linda Niles, in heaven.

Born to Rudolfo and Maria Teresa Rodriguez, Miguel was a man of grit, integrity, and deep devotion to those he loved. A professional cowboy known for his passion for calf roping, Miguel dedicated his life to the arena and the values it instilled—discipline, determination, and honor. His quiet strength, infectious spirit, and unwavering loyalty made him the rock of his family and a cherished friend to many.

His loving children survive Miguel: daughter Olga and her husband Brandon Cox; son Miguel and his wife Patti Rodriguez; and son Courtney Niles. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Gage Rodriguez and Tilly Niles, who brought him boundless joy. He also leaves behind his significant other, Loretta Witte, whose companionship meant so much to him in his later years.

Miguel’s love for family extended deeply to his siblings and their families. He is also survived by his sister Gloria Rodriguez; his brother Rudolfo Rodriguez and his wife Charlotte; and his sister Lisa and her husband Victor Sotel. Their shared memories and enduring bond will forever honor Miguel’s legacy.

A cowboy not just by trade but by spirit, Miguel believed in the simple pleasures of life: family, hard work, loyalty, and living with honor. His life was a testament to resilience and love, and his legacy will continue in the stories, laughter, and traditions passed down by those who knew and loved him.

The Rodriguez family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all who have offered support, prayers, and kindness during this difficult time.
