Michael Joseph Lutheran

Michael Joseph Lutheran, a beloved figure in his community, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on February 20, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio, dedicated his life to both his family and work, making a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Michael was recognized for his career as a Machine Tech for Lockrey, where his skills and dedication were appreciated by his colleagues. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he was a proud member of the United States Air National Guard, serving with honor and dedication.

A graduate of Macomber High School, Michael possessed a natural aptitude for fixing things, earning him the affectionate title of "Mr. Fix-It" among friends and family. He found joy in being creative and finding solutions to everyday challenges.

An extroverted spirit, Michael loved being social and in the mix, relishing the moments spent with family and friends. He brought people together, creating bonds that enriched the lives of those around him.

He leaves behind a cherished family, including his son, Michael (Kim) Lutheran; daughters Brenda (Chet) Caminita and Donna (David) Malizia; grandchildren Kelly, Christena, Brooke, Jonathan, Joseph, Madison, Jake, and Rachel; and great-grandchildren Luke and Lincoln. Michael also shared a close bond with his brother, John Lutheran, who will carry his memory forward.

Michael was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathleen Lutheran; his son, Andrew Lutheran; and his parents, Joseph and Helen Lutheran. He is also reunited in spirit with his late brother, Phillip Lutheran.

Friends and family will be received at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, Ohio on Saturday, August 23, 2025 for a 4:00 PM funeral service. He will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery.

The legacy of Michael Joseph Lutheran will endure in the laughter and love he cultivated among his family and friends. His warmth, wisdom, and unwavering spirit will be profoundly missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him.
