Michael E. Frost

Michael E. "Mike" Frost, age 55, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital. He was born on December 7, 1967 to Pete and Kay (Smith) Frost in Toledo. Mike graduated in 1986 from Start High School. He was a journeyman with Local 45 for many years, something he was always proud of. Mike was an avid outdoorsman; loving hunting, fishing, boating and being on the water. He finally was able to tag his first deer while bow hunting at Maumee Bay State Park, which brought so much joy to him. Mike enjoyed riding motorcycles, CB radios and was a huge foodie. Mike liked spending time at the lake and having a good cold beer. He was very proud of his family and loved his grandbabies. Mike's sense of humor, and spirit will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his dad, he was preceded in death by his aunt, Cindy Rooks. Left to cherish his memory is his caring wife of 32 years, Sarah Frost; children, Jesse (Lisa and Mary) Frost, Rebecca "his boo" Frost, Justin Frost, and Rachel (Gage Stoler) Frost; grandchildren, Brayland, Alyssa, Bently, Eli and Blake; mom, Kay Frost; in-laws, Maury "Papa" and Penny Collins; siblings, Lori (George) Kreamer, Jason Frost, Brandy Adams, Jamie Gordon, and Joey Frost; best friend, Ron (Marti) Ditmyer; The Whiteman family; fur babies, Levi and Mudflap; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd., Toledo, OH 43615 (419-392-9500) with a Sharing of Memories at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Prayers will begin Monday, November 20, 2023 at 9:45 a.m. in the funeral home followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Historic Church of St. Patrick Church, 130 Avondale Ave., Toledo, OH 43604.
