Melissa Schramm, a cherished and loving soul, departed this world on December 2, 2025, in Toledo, Ohio. Born on October 12, 1973, Melissa dedicated her life to the things that mattered most to her: her family, her friends, her cat Resse and the music that filled her heart with joy.

Melissa was a woman of warm spirit and gentle kindness. Known for her loving nature, she adored her family, and her devotion to them was evident in every moment they shared together. She took immense pleasure in her role as a mother and grandmother, relishing in the bonds she forged with her sons: John, Nathaniel and his wife Vickie, Nicholas, and Christian. Each relationship was unique, yet they all bore the unmistakable mark of her unconditional love. Her grandson, Urijah, and Brian, brought light into her life, serving as constant reminders of the joy that family brings. Among her loved ones, Matt held a special place in her heart as her life partner; their connection embodied a beautiful partnership filled with mutual respect and admiration.

Melissa's love of life extended beyond her family. She was known for her heartfelt passion for music and her unforgettable karaoke performances. Whether singing in a crowded room or sharing a quiet moment at home with her cat, Resse, her joyful spirit always shined through. Her laughter and infectious smile will forever resonate in the memories of those who had the privilege to know her.

In addition to her family, Melissa is survived by her parents, Charles and Rosanne Hadlock, who fostered her compassionate heart and encouraged her zest for life. She leaves behind her uncles, Michael, Larry, Steve, and his wife Kim, alongside a vast network of loving extended family members and close friends, each of whom has been touched by her grace and warmth.

Though Melissa has been called away from this life, her memory will live on through the countless lives she impacted. She will be missed dearly by both family and friends, yet her spirit will carry forward in the hearts of those who loved her so deeply.

Visitation and memorial services to celebrate Melissa's remarkable life will take place on December 14, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Toledo. Family and friends are invited to share in the remembrance of a truly wonderful woman who exemplified love and joy in every interaction.

Rest peacefully, dear Melissa. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
