Mary Frances Drouillard Posadny was born 11/4/52 and departed this earth on August 8, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mary lived a full life and was married to Leo Posadny for 43 years. Her great joys were her two sons and three grandsons whom she loved to the moon and back.
Mary graduated from Mary Manse College in 1974. She worked for many years in management at the family business, Weaver Poultry. Her second career was a well-respected and beloved elementary teacher at Regina Coeli Catholic School. She dedicated herself to both ventures fully.
After retirement she discovered a hidden talent for watercolor painting and created many beautiful artworks which she shared with countless family and friends. It was always a special honor to receive a piece of her art in a print or card.
She and Leo moved to Port Charlotte, Florida in 2019 to enjoy warm winters and palm trees. In addition to water colors, Mary loved to cook and bake cookies, walk in the neighborhood and visit with family and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her father Joseph L Drouillard and brother Chris Drouillard. She is survived by her husband Leo, sons Chris (Kristi) and Tom Posadny, and grandsons Andrew, Matthew and Logan; mother Gloria Drouillard, and brothers Joe (Camille), Bernie (Anne), Greg (Jeanne) and Paul (Carol) and sisters Marty (Dave) Murray, Maria (Irwin) Montgomery and Shelly Drouillard and sister-in-law Jenny Drouillard.
