Mark C. Tompkins

Mark Christopher Tompkins age 34 of Jackson, Michigan formerly of Toledo, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on October 30, 2025. He was born in Bury, England on June 7, 1991.

Mark earned his PHD from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. He was employed as a social worker at Henry Ford Health. Mark enjoyed traveling, eating chocolates and watching comedy shows.

He is survived by his husband, Samuel Casim; father, Billy Tompkins; sisters, Kelly (Michael) Larkin, Vicky Tompkins; nephews, Kelvin, Declan and Tyler Larkin. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Tompkins; brother, Martin Tompkins and sister, Marie.

Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home, (West Sylvania Chapel) 3655 King Rd. Toledo, OH in Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 1:00-8:00 PM. A service celebrating Mark’s Life will begin at 5:00 PM.
