Mario Anthony Zicarelli

Mario Anthony Zicarelli, of Rossford, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the age of 49.

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce his passing and celebrate a life that touched many hearts. Mario will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Kathleen Sue (Vogel) Zicarelli; his brother, Vincent Carl Zicarelli; and his cherished niece, Alana Laudis Zicarelli.

He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Carl Zicarelli, whom we trust has welcomed his son home with open arms.

A special tribute is extended to Melissa Tokar, with whom Mario shared a loving and devoted relationship for 18 years before her passing. He also held a special place in the lives of her sons, Jordan and Johnny, who became an important part of his extended family.

Mario's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Though his time with us was far too short, the love, friendship, and memories he shared will remain a lasting source of comfort.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Road, Toledo, Ohio 43617. A Sharing of Memories service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial donations are gratefully accepted in Mario's honor.
