Lula Fellhauer, born on January 11, 1939, in Big Creek, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, in Toledo, Ohio. A dedicated homemaker throughout her life, Lula poured her heart and soul into fostering a warm, loving environment for her family. Over the years, she worked at Hinkle's and Toledo Jewelers. She was known for her fun-loving spirit and her uncanny ability to bring people together. With an outgoing personality, witty sense of humor, and unwavering faith, Lula left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Lula's commitment to family was evident in her cherished tradition of hosting holiday gatherings. She ensured that her loved ones were always together during those special times of celebration, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love. As a proud mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, her greatest achievement lay in the joy she brought to her family, relishing the role of matriarch.
She is survived by her beloved son, Mark (Robin) Wellman; her grandchildren, Troy (Erin) Wellman and Lindsay (Scott) Billings; and her great-grandchildren: McKayla (Dylan) Gorsuch, Dawsyn Arend, Elijah Wellman, Colt Heiden, Nathan Keener, as well as her great-great-grandchildren, DJ, Denver Gorsuch, Jameson Gareau, and Preslee Keener. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by her sisters, Rose Jagodzinski and Carol Ivy.
Lula was a woman of many interests. She took pride in maintaining her home and lawn, finding joy in cleaning her house and cutting grass. Not only did she excel at these tasks, but she also enjoyed weekly family lunches, especially on Wednesdays, where her love for family shone brightly.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Boyd and Dorothy (Ward) Pack, her husband Jack Fellhauer, her daughter Sabrina Stamper, and her sisters Ruby and Marie Pack. Each of these loved ones will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Lula's life was a testament to the power of love, laughter, and family. She will be deeply missed, but the legacy of her kindness and spirited joy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family.
Visitation will be held on February 19, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 3655 King Rd, Toledo, OH 43617. A funeral service will follow on February 20, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM at the same location, leading to a burial at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park at 12:00 PM.
Lula Fellhauer, a beacon of affection and togetherness, now rests in peace, united with her beloved family members who have gone before her.
