Lucille G. Adamski, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away on December 22, 2025, at the Kingston Residence of Perrysburg. Born on June 4, 1932, in Toledo, Ohio, Lucille lived a life full of purpose and devotion, marked by her unwavering commitment to her family, faith, and career.
A proud graduate of Harriet Whitney High School, class of 1950, Lucille went on to establish a successful career. She worked as a Secretary at Toledo Trust Bank and later contributed her skills to the University of Toledo in the Registration office. Her professional life reflected her dedication and strong work ethic, qualities that were equally evident in her personal life.
Lucille married Richard J. Adamski on April 28, 1956, a union that brought her great joy and pride. Together they built a loving home, raising two sons, Jeffrey J. Adamski and Douglas J. Adamski. Lucille held her family close to her heart, cherishing the time spent traveling with them and creating lasting memories.
As a faithful member of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns, Lucille's devotion extended beyond her family to her faith community. Her spirit of kindness and service touched the lives of many who knew her.
Lucille is survived by her son, Jeffrey, and her sister, Nancy Pusher; and her sister-in-law, Ruth Adamski. She is also remembered fondly by nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Lucille was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard; her parents, Clementine (Janas) and Leo Yunker; her son Douglas Adamski; and her brother, Floyd Yunker.
Friends and family will be received at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, Ohio 43614 on Wednesday, December 31 from 10:00-11:00 AM with a funeral mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. The kindness and compassion shown to Lucille by the staff at Kingston were acknowledged with gratitude from her family during this challenging time.
