Lois Lynn Ward

Lois Lynn Ward of Temperance, Michigan passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026 at age 85, peacefully with her family by her side. She was born on November 24, 1940, in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Wade W. Ward and Mary Lea (Harmon) Eakins. Lois attended school in both Ohio and West Virginia.

Lois loved the Lord with all her heart and was a member of Cathedral of Praise known currently as the Church on Strayer Road. She played the piano and the accordion and loved to sing. She sang in the choir for years and did some special singing events with different groups. Lois loved line dancing with her daughter Shawn at home and watching her sons joke around with each other. Lois loved and adored her cats, Miss Patches and Mr. Dudley who are with her in heaven and she leaves behind her precious Susie.

Lois is survived by her sons, Larry Cronin (Natalee), Keith Cronin (Irene), Kevin Cronin (Doreen), Mike Malone (Linda), and her daughter, Shawn (Malone) Myers (John); Lois has 11 grandchildren, Lisa, Kenneth, Eric, Matthew, Michael, Heidi, Alex, Curtis, Kobe, Mary Kate, and Teryn; 4 Great Grandsons Devan, Casey James, Ashton, and Benjamin; 4 great grand-daughters, Layla, Nora, Kali, and Isabella.

Friends and family will be received at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 4150 West Laskey Rd., Toledo, Ohio 43623 on Sunday, September 13, 2026 from 11:00 am-5:00 pm with a funeral service at 5:00 pm.
