Lois J. Harrison

Lois J. Harrison, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, departed this world on February 25, 2026, in Toledo, Ohio, where she was born on October 10, 1948. She was known for her warm smile and nurturing spirit, embodying the qualities of being nice, caring, and supportive.

Lois dedicated her life to taking care of her family and cherished every moment spent with them. She proudly raised her three daughters, Lois J. Reneger, Kathy Stirn, and Sueann (Tom) Nero, and her greatest triumphs were undoubtedly her children, who carry forth her legacy of kindness and love. Lois was also a treasured grandmother to Amanda, Brad, Christopher, and Johnathan, who will fondly remember the games of cards they played together.

Her generous heart extended beyond her immediate family. Lois shared a deep bond with her sister, Kathy (Don) Bauer, and maintained close relationships with her sister-in-law, Joyce Jones, niece, Valerie Jones, and nephews, Eddie Jones and Bill (Rhonda) Jones, Jr. Each of these relationships brought joy to her life, and Lois was a constant source of strength and encouragement for her loved ones.

Lois attended Whitmer High School and later established a career as a janitor, a role she approached with diligence and pride. Those who knew her would remember her gentle nature and willingness to help, enhancing the lives of those around her.

She navigated through life's challenges with grace, enduring the loss of her husband, Ray Harrison, in 2000, after nearly 15 years of marriage. Lois's ability to find joy amidst sorrow is a testament to her resilience and love for her family.

As we celebrate Lois's life, we reflect on her unwavering support, her laughter, and the lasting memories she created. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who are comforted by the knowledge that her spirit will forever remain in their hearts.
