Linda J. Markwood

Linda Markwood passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 10, 2026. Linda was an amazing, lovable, generous, and fun lady throughout her entire life, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and joy.

A proud graduate of Deshler High School, class of 1965, Linda made Toledo her home shortly after graduation and remained a resident ever since. She raised two wonderful sons, Dennis and Dean.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved son, Dean. She leaves behind a devoted family who will miss her dearly, including her son, Dennis (of Phoenix, AZ); her daughter-in-law, Theresa; her grandchildren, Marley and Alida; her great-grandson, Phoenix, and another great-grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her youngest sister, Lois, who moved back from California to care for Linda in recent years, her sister, Luann and her family, and her brother, Larry and his family.

Linda’s bright spirit will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
