Linda A. Kinsey

Linda A. Kinsey, born June 5, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on May 2, 2026, in Toledo, Ohio. She was 75 years old.

Linda was known for her kind, nice, gentle, and considerate nature. Throughout her life, she carried a spirit of warmth and generosity that endeared her to all who knew her. A loving grandmother and devoted animal lover, Linda cherished her time with family and found joy in simple pleasures. She was an avid reader, often lost in the pages of her favorite books, and had a fondness for sweets that brought a touch of delight to her daily routine. Weekends spent at the campground with her husband, Steven, whom she married on September 1, 1973, were among her treasured moments.

Her educational journey began at Whitmer High School, and she later graduated from Start High School, laying the foundation for a life marked by devotion to family and community.

Linda is survived by her daughters Jill, married to Shannon, and Mindy; her grandchildren Arian, Hazel, Tyler, Mya, Paloma, and Wyatt; and her great-grandchild, Zen. She is also survived by her brothers Rick, Jeff, and Dave Johnson. These family members carry forward her memory and the values she upheld throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Steve; her parents Earl and Penny; her sister Michelle; and her brother Michael.

A memorial gathering to honor Linda’s life will be held on May 9, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Toledo, located at 4150 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH 43623.

Linda A. Kinsey’s legacy is one of kindness, gentleness, and unwavering love for those around her. Her memory will remain deeply cherished by her family and friends.
