Linda Ann Durbin, 74, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away in the early hours of Thursday, November 2nd, 2023, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born on August 17th, 1949 to her parents: Hugh and Betty Ryle.
Linda graduated from Bowser high school before getting married and quickly starting a family. Although nothing made her happier than spending time with her loved ones, she also took joy in being an advocate for the most vulnerable among us through her political activism and personal counseling. Her staunch belief that every child is a gift from God was most evident in her reverence for the unborn, as well as in her devotion to the living. Additionally, her career as a real estate agent was a source of great pride and fulfillment.
Linda had many hobbies, but chief among them was her enthusiasm for current events, as well as her passions for gardening, cooking, and traveling. Her keen interest in the news was a reflection of her active engagement with the world around her, while her colorful garden illustrated her love for both nurturing and natural beauty. Likewise, her kitchen was a place of warmth and hospitality, perfectly matching her personality. Finally, her numerous journeys to places such as: Hawaii, Appalachia, Ireland, Los Angeles, and Mackinac Island, exemplified her ever curious and open-minded approach to life.
Linda is survived by her four children: Ron (Michele), Kris (Russ), Karen (Tom), and Tim; her eleven grandchildren: Derek, Andrew, Nikole, and Matthew; Brock, Bailey, Kallie, and Kacie; Kaitlin (Connor), Kelsey (Khristopher), and Zachary; her three great grandchildren: Milo, Storm, and Blair; her sister, Vicki, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Hugh and Betty, her sister, Nancy, her brother, Patrick, and her daughter, Jennifer.
Donations are requested to be given to Pro-Life organizations in loving memory of Linda.
