Linda K. Dunning

Linda K. Dunning, age 72, of Toledo, passed away peacefully at home on May 30, 2026, surrounded by the family she loved so deeply.

Born on April 3, 1954, in Toledo, Ohio, to Donald and Virginia (Komorowski) Hauri, Linda lived a life defined by hard work, wisdom, generosity, and an unwavering devotion to her family.

Linda was a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and voice of reason. She opened her home, her heart, and her table to anyone who needed them. She enjoyed reading, solving puzzles, playing Rummikub and working Sudoku, but her greatest joy was always found in spending time with family. The lessons she taught, the traditions she created, and the love she shared will continue to live on in all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Virginia Hauri, and her brother, Donald Hauri.

Linda is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Daryl Price Dunning; her children, Karla (Matt) McVicker, Daryl (Emily) Dunning, Don Dunning, and Adam (Tia) Dunning; her cherished grandchildren, Liam, Owen, Jenna, Trinity, and Olivia Dunning; and her sisters, Jean Brandt, Jan Kalucki, Mary Nowak, and Margaret Scharrschmidt.

A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be announced at a later date.

In honor of her memory, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
