Linda I. Blankley

Linda I. Blankley, born on September 18, 1943, in Toledo, Ohio, passed away on December 29, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. She lived a life marked by compassion, dedication, and warmth, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by her loved ones.

Linda began her professional journey after graduating from Jesup W. Scott High School in 1961, followed by her graduation from Riverside School of Nursing in 1964, where she earned her Bachelor's degree. Her career as a Registered Nurse exemplified her commitment to caring for others, a theme that remained consistent throughout her life. After her fulfilling nursing career, she dedicated a significant period to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, where she continued to make a positive impact on the community.

Known for her caring and loving nature, Linda was a beacon of kindness to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her interests included a deep appreciation for country and western music, which often accompanied her joyful moments. She also took pleasure in cooking, sewing, and crocheting, talents that she shared generously with friends and family.

Linda is survived by her son, Marc Blankley, and his wife Wendy; her brother, Robert Francis, and his wife Kelly; her sister, Carol Gray, and her husband Terry; and her sister-in-law, Thea Keshavarzi. She also leaves behind a host of loving nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her nurturing spirit.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lary Blankley, and her sister, Judith Nelson. Linda's memory will be honored through the love and affection she instilled in her family and friends.

A graveside service in her memory will be held on January 10, 2026, at Toledo Memorial Park in Sylvania, Ohio, commencing at 12:30 PM. The warmth of Linda's heart and the loving impact she had on those around her will continue to inspire and guide her family and friends for many years to come.
