Linda Sue Barto

Linda Sue Barto, age 57, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on Sunday, September 28, 2025.Linda was born on May 6, 1968 in Toledo, Ohio. She met the love of her life, Greg Cousino, in 1999 through a mutual friend and had spent every day together since. Linda had a deep love for family and all the little things that made life magical. Christmas was her favorite time of year — a season she made truly unforgettable.

 Whether it was decorating the tree with her children and grandchildren, or watching The Grinch, she poured her heart into every tradition. Her home was always full of laughter, warmth, and family photos. She taught her family the joy of giving, the importance of being together, and the magic of believing — not just at Christmas, but all year round. Her legacy lives on in the traditions she created and the love she gave so freely.

She is survived by her mom, Judy Fall; sons, Kevin (Chelsea) Barto, Charles ‘Chuckie’ (Erika) Barto and Justin (Jacqueline) Barto; Sister, Penny (Jeff) Brough; brothers, David (Kelli) Barto, Steven (John) Fall, and Shawn Rittenouer; bonus dad, Denny Fall; nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews and cousins. She was a proud grandma to 10 grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.She is preceded in death by her dad, Dave Barto Sr.; life partner, Gregory "Greg" Cousino; and granddaughter Alecia.

The community is welcome to show their respects on Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 3:00pm-8:00pm at Newcomer located at 4150 W. Laskey Rd. Toledo, Ohio 43623.

There will be a Christmas themed Celebration of Life for Linda in the upcoming weeks.
