Leslie Schultz, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025, at her home in Toledo, Ohio, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on October 4, 1968, in Toledo, Leslie filled her life with love, creativity, and a deep devotion to her family.
Leslie was known for her nurturing spirit, always worrying about and caring for those around her. She was a loving woman whose warmth and compassion resonated with everyone she met. A passionate artist, Leslie spent many joyful hours immersed in arts and crafts, often finding inspiration in the beauty of nature while gardening. Her love for rock music provided a vibrant soundtrack to her life, accompanied by her pet dogs, who were always close to her heart.
Leslie's happiest moments came from being together with her family. In 2005, she celebrated one of her proudest accomplishments when she married her beloved husband, Lawrence Schultz. Together, they created a loving home filled with laughter and support.
She cherished her children: Shane Rieger, Jessica (Jason Cain) Rieger, Samantha Schultz, Zachary Schultz, and Alexandra Schultz. Leslie was also a proud grandmother to her grandchildren, Kayleigh, Ronald, and Donald Cain, whom she adored deeply. Her legacy is further enriched by her siblings Peggy (John) Langevin, and David (Eileen) Alexander, along with many cherished nieces and nephews. She joins in eternal rest her parents, Donald and Julia Alexander, and her son, Darrel Rieger.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the visitation on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Toledo, located at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614. A funeral service to honor Leslie's beautiful life will take place the following day, Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM, also at Newcomer Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
Leslie Schultz leaves behind a rich tapestry of love and memory that will be cherished forever. Her spirit will continue to inspire, and she will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
