Larry Rozmus, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, in Toledo, Ohio, at the age of 74. Born on August 16, 1951, in Omaha, Nebraska, Larry was known for his generous spirit and lively personality.

Larry embarked on his professional journey in 1976 when he joined Pexco Packaging. Throughout his career, he demonstrated dedication and hard work, ultimately rising through the ranks to becoming their Union Foreman. After nearly four decades of service, he retired in 2015, leaving behind a legacy of commitment and excellence.

His family fondly remembers Larry for his playful nature. His son, Bob Masters, recalls the cherished water fights they had during Bob’s childhood—spontaneous moments that would catch him off guard, to the dismay of his mother, Bonita "Bonnie" Rozmus. Bob is grateful for the unwavering support from both his parents, which fueled his passion for running. Larry's sense of humor and sarcastic wit made him a lively participant in debates, as he enjoyed taking opposing viewpoints for spirited discussions.

A passionate supporter of his grandchildren, Larry found great joy in attending their athletic events, whether it was cheering them on in cross country or soccer. He particularly delighted in playing cards, engaging in games of Cribbage and Euchre with friends from the neighborhood and fellow parishioners from St. James Catholic Church.

One of Larry's proudest achievements was overcoming challenges to earn his General Educational Development (GED), a testament to his determination and resilience.

He is survived by his son Bob Masters and his wife Shawn; his daughter Beverly Baker and her husband Wayne; his grandchildren, Abby, Jonah and his fiancé Abby Yeater, Nathan, and Simon Masters; as well as a host of siblings, special nieces and nephews, Angelina Knisley, Christina Hogencamp and Manny Menchaca, and many loving extended family members and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 45 years, Bonita "Bonnie" Rozmus, who passed away in 2020, and brother-in-law Manuel Menchaca.

Larry Rozmus's life was marked by love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
