Larry J. Boone

Larry J. Boone, age 73, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, March 1, 2026 in Monclova, Ohio.

Larry was born on May 26, 1952 in Detroit, MI to John & Marie (Watkins) Boone. Larry moved to Toledo as a teenager. He married Patricia Stevens on September 28, 1973. They were married for 52 years. Larry and Pat lived in Waterville, OH for 46 years.

Larry was employed by Continental Coffee for 10 years and then worked for Seaway Food Town in their Maumee warehouse for 25 years. He retired in 2003.

Larry was an avid golfer and spent many hours perfecting his swing on the White Pines golf course. He also enjoyed camping, gardening, caring for his fish pond & backyard friends, but most of all he loved his family.

Larry was preceded in death by his father & brothers: Charles, Wade & Glen. He is survived by his wife Pat; mother, Marie; sister, Linda (Rich Swetz) & his beloved nieces, nephews & in-laws.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, (Southwest Chapel) 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, Ohio Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:30pm. A memorial service will immediately follow visitation at 4:30pm. Inurnment will be private at Toledo Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society in Larry’s name.
