Larry Dell Anderson

Larry Dell Anderson, age 82, of Woodville, OH passed away November 12, 2025 at St Charles Mercy Hospital. He was born February 28, 1943 in Blackwell, OK to Jacob and Oletta Anderson. When Larry was a child, his family moved to Fremont. He grew up there until he got married and moved to Woodville in 1967. He worked at Chrysler Toledo Machining until retirement.

Larry was a Christian who attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Elmore, OH. He had many hobbies and interests. Larry traveled across the country with his wife, Karen. For twenty years, they spent their winters in Donna, Texas, near the Mexican border. Additionally, he was an avid golfer and was a member of several golf leagues. He enjoyed woodworking, walking daily at the YMCA in Fremont with many of his good friends, and watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s sporting events over the years.

Larry was preceded in death by his father and mother, Jacob Anderson and Oletta Gundel; step-father, Frederick Gundel; wife, Karen Anderson; brother, Wesley Anderson and former wife, Janice Anderson-Snyder. He is survived by his daughters, Vickie (Kevin) Gottfried and Teaira (Mark) Rosenberger; stepchildren, Tina Gyde, Robin Harder, and Terry Harder; grandchildren, Brent (Katie) Shammo, Eric (Danielle) Shammo, Korey (Elizabeth) Gottfried, Tyler (Brittany) Rosenberger, Kyle (Camila) Rosenberger, Bree Rosenberger and Grace Rosenberger; step-grandson, Wesley (Mary Jane) Gyde; and great-grandchildren, Ella, Brice, Rowan, Nora, Lincoln, Logan, Weston, Khloe, Carter and Brynn.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 412 Fremont Street, Elmore on December 5th at 11 AM. A luncheon will follow the service.
