Kyle James Patrick McGaha

Kyle James Patrick McGaha, age 34, a lifelong resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025. He was born on February 18, 1991, to James and Amy Rachel (DellaFlora) McGaha. Kyle was the second of five children. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humor, often giving his siblings and friends funny nicknames that stuck. Kyle attended Central Catholic High School and graduated from Start High School in 2009. He went on to worked at Red Wells before joining Jeep Stellantis, Toledo Chrysler Assembly Plant, where he was a proud member of UAW Local 12 for over a decade. 

Above all, Kyle was a devoted father. He cherished every moment with his son, Karter, coaching his ball team and spending time at the pool. 

Kyle loved reading authors like Stephen King and James Patterson, playing disc golf, video games, watching anime and cooking. He also enjoyed holidays and camping trips with his family as he grew up. Kyle will be remembered by his family and friends for his high level of intelligence, the love he showed and his sense of humor. In recent years, Kyle found peace in rediscovering his faith and made the heartfelt decision to rejoin a church.

He is survived by his loving parents, Amy Rachel and James G. McGaha; his beloved son, Karter; siblings, Derrick (Stefanie) DellaFlora, Brenna McGaha, Darian (Jon) Zilba, and Brody McGaha; nieces and nephew, Delanie and Devlyn DellaFlora, Leo Zilba and Mazzy Zilba; special aunt, Mary DellaFlora; aunts and uncles, Valerie McGaha, Tanya (Shawn) Nikolakos, Bobby DellaFlora, Myles Meyers, Bradley (Michelle) McGaha, Todd (Jenny) McGaha and Steve McAninch; special friend, Katlyn Johnson; godparents, Shawn and Jeri Zaborski and his beloved pets, Karl the bearded Dragon and Drac his dog.

Kyle was also preceded in death by his aunt, Andrea McAninch; niece, Nova Zilba and grandparents, Sandy and Ray DellaFlora and James and Pauline McGaha.

The family will receive guests Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd, Toledo (419-473-0300) with a Celebration of Life beginning at 6:30 p.m.
