Kyle Thomas Killian, a devoted son, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on April 15, 2026. Born on December 28, 1997, in Toledo, Ohio, Kyle’s life was marked by his warmth, dedication, and a passion for the simple joys shared with those he loved.
A graduate of Cardinal Stritch High School’s class of 2016, Kyle was known for his energetic spirit, notably running cross country during his high school years. His connection to the outdoors was evident in his love for fishing, camping, and spending evenings gathered around campfires. Kyle cherished playing Rummikub, Chess and going to the movies with his” Babe” Katie. These moments were reflections of his deep appreciation for family, friends, and the valued memories they created together.
Kyle’s career as a security guard at UTMC demonstrated his commitment to protecting and serving others. Beyond his professional life, he cherished the joyous celebrations of the holidays and held a special place in his heart for travels with family, particularly their memorable trip to the Florida Keys, gifted to him and his twin brother Sean on their twenty-first birthday.
He is survived by his loving parents, Michelle and Brian Killian; his twin brother Sean (Rachel) Killian; brothers Bradley (Ashley) Fernandes and Ian Scherer; and sister Ashley Fernandes; devoted girlfriend, Katie VanCamp; accompanied by his cherished dogs, Carmel and Aja. Kyle was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Dolores Killian and Barbara and Robert Blair, as well as his family dog Snowball.
