Kimberly Kay Robinson, 63, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on February 21, 2026. She was born on December 12, 1962, in Toledo, Ohio, to Tommy Robinson Sr. and Glenna Robinson.
Kim was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was the heart of her family and the one everyone turned to for love, comfort, and strength. Her home was the gathering place for holidays, especially Christmas, where laughter filled every room and no one ever left hungry. Summers were spent swimming, cooking out, and creating treasured memories with her children and grandchildren. Kim not only helped raise her own children and grandchildren but also opened her home and heart to many neighborhood children over the years.
She was a loyal fan of the Detroit Lions and Michigan Wolverines and loved spending her summers at Green Valley Campground surrounded by family and friends.
Family was the center of Kim’s world. She gave her love freely and selflessly, always putting others before herself. Her warmth, resilience, and unwavering devotion will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her father, Tommy Robinson Sr.; her loving husband, Donald Burnett; her mother-in-law, Alice Small; her children, Tanya Robinson, Johnathan (April) Lunsford Sr., Lisa Lunsford, and Alice (James) Ten Eyck; her cherished grandchildren, Marcus, Dominique (Kheyonte), Sa’Mya, Destiny, Damarion, Marcellius, Johnathan Jr., Gabriel, Isaiah, Julian, Aubrey, Audriana, Zane, Rita and Nora; and her great-grandchildren, Kai’lvy, Dayanara, Marcella, and Armoni.
She is also survived by her sisters, Vickie Sugg and Shelly (Al) Robinson; her sisters-in-law, Theresa Lunsford, Cheryl (Jim) Piasecki, and Samantha Small; her aunt, Debbie; her cousin, Misty; her close niece, Laschell; her close nephew, Chad (Jamie); along with many other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will deeply miss her presence.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Glenna Robinson; her sister, Mary Robinson; her brother, Tommy Robinson Jr.; and her beloved grandsons, Terry Jr. and Armani Durham.
Kim’s life was a testament to love, strength, and dedication to family. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, the memories she created and the love she shared will continue to guide and comfort her family forever.
