Kenneth "Kenny" Snyder, a cherished figure in the lives of his family and friends, passed away on January 4, 2026, in his hometown of Toledo, Ohio. Born on November 13, 1946, Kenny lived a vibrant life filled with love, laughter, and adventure.

A dedicated truck driver for Clairmont Transfer for many years, Kenny was known for his strong work ethic and commitment. His colleagues admired not only his skills behind the wheel but also his unique sense of humor. Throughout his life, Kenny left an indelible mark on everyone he met, easily making friends wherever he went.

Kenny's personality was best described as ornery yet lovingly stubborn, coupled with a sharp intellect that made him a math wiz. He had a passion for life and a generous spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a hearty meal he had prepared himself. His cooking was legendary among his family and friends, and his warmth and kindness made every gathering special.

One of Kenny's great joys was spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He cherished every moment spent hunting with them, especially those precious trips with his granddaughter. Kenny was proud of the memories they created together, including his accomplishments as a hunter, having harvested two deer in the past year. He also loved to share his enthusiasm for Storm/Walleye Hockey in Toledo, which brought him great joy.

In his private moments, Kenny often reminisced about the delightful trip to Cape Cod with his beloved wife, Lonnie Snyder. Their love was evident in the way Kenny proudly displayed his treasured My Buddy Doll, which Lonnie had charmingly dressed up as a blind referee—now showcased at The Blarney as a testament to their affectionate bond.

Kenny leaves behind his beloved wife, Lonnie Snyder; brother David Snyder; daughter Nicole (Michael) Chandler; son Kevin (Ashley) Snyder; step-daughters Tammy (Rob) Cisneros and Brandi (Eric) Jensen; step-son Dustin (Ashley) Krauzer; daughter-in-law Toni Snyder; cherished aunt Millie Walasinski: grandchildren Kyle, Jade, Jonathan, Levi, Hunter, Owen, Cole, Reese, Leo, Lane, and Ellia; along with three great-grandchildren: Lexi, Adalynn, and Aaliyah; and countless other loving family members and friends. They will carry forward his love and the memories of the incredible man he was.

Kenny was preceded in death by his mother, Agnes Snyder (Zimmer); father, Kenneth "Alvin" Snyder; sister, Barbara Garrett; son, Chase Snyder; and grandson, Caleb Snyder. Each of these individuals held a unique place in his heart and have now welcomed him into their eternal embrace.

A memorial gathering to honor Kenny's life will be held on January 9, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home in Northwest Toledo, providing family and friends the opportunity to celebrate his remarkable life and profound impact.

As we remember Kenny, let us carry forward the lessons of love, generosity, and joy he imparted to us all. His legacy will forever remain in our hearts.
