In Loving Memory of Kenneth Joseph Robedeau

Kenneth Joseph Robedeau, age 65, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on April 1, 1961, in Toledo, Ohio, Kenneth lived a life defined by faith, service, creativity, laughter, and unwavering love for his family.

Kenneth proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a Quartermaster, retiring after more than twenty years of honorable service. He carried the values of dedication, honor, and integrity throughout his life. Following his military career, he spent many years doing work he genuinely enjoyed as a semi-truck driver. He appreciated the freedom of the open road, the friendships he made along the way, and took great pride in his work.

On August 22, 2008, Kenneth married the love of his life, Jacqueline, beginning a beautiful chapter filled with devotion, companionship, and cherished memories. Jacqueline lovingly called Kenneth "The Bestest," a nickname that perfectly captured the deep love, friendship, admiration, and partnership they shared throughout their marriage.

A devoted Christian, Kenneth's faith was the foundation of his life. He lived with kindness, compassion, and a caring spirit that touched everyone who knew him. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor, warm heart, and willingness to help others. Whether sharing a laugh, offering encouragement, or simply spending time with loved ones, Kenneth had a special way of making people feel valued and loved.

Kenneth had a remarkable creative side and enjoyed spending time painting color-by-number artwork with markers and assembling detailed 3D models. He found joy and relaxation in these hobbies and took pride in the beautiful works he created. Above all else, he treasured time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who were the light of his life and a constant source of pride and happiness. Nothing brought Kenneth greater joy than hearing about the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren and spending time with them whenever possible.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Patricia Robedeau; his siblings, Rick and Sue; and his beloved granddaughter, Lynn.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jacqueline Robedeau; his daughter, April Page-Robedeau (Brandon); his son, Ryan Robedeau (Amanda); and his stepson, Jonathan Simon (Missy). He was the proud and loving grandfather of Connor, Draedyn, Faeron, Elijah, Ivy, Ryan Jr., and Thea.

Kenneth is also survived by his siblings, Steve Robedeau (Debbie) and Mary Bland; his sisters-in-law, Jeanne Halsey (Lance), Deborah Kent, Patti Schroeder, Diane Grange (Rick), and Kim Williams; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

He also leaves behind his faithful and beloved Akita, Lacey, whose companionship brought him great comfort and joy.

Kenneth will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, proud veteran, faithful Christian, talented artist, hardworking truck driver, and loyal friend. Whether he was traveling the highways behind the wheel of a semi-truck, working on a creative project, sharing stories and laughter, or spending time with the people he loved most, Kenneth left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. To Jacqueline, he was simply "The Bestest," and he will forever hold that place in her heart.

Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy of faith, kindness, creativity, and love will continue through the family he adored and the countless lives he touched.

The family finds comfort in knowing that Kenneth is now at peace in the presence of the Lord, reunited with loved ones who have gone before him and watching over those he held dear. They also rejoice in the promise that they will see him again in God's eternal kingdom.

Visitation and Memorial Celebration

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Northwest Chapel, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623.

A Memorial Celebration of Life with Military Honors will immediately follow at 6:00 p.m.

Memorial Contributions

In lieu of or in addition to floral arrangements, memorial contributions may be made to WPOS Proclaim FM, Cherry Street Mission Ministries, or Toledo Gospel Rescue Mission, organizations that reflected Kenneth's strong Christian faith and his desire to support ministries that serve and uplift others.
