Kelly A. Waterfield

Kelly Ann Waterfield, 49, of Maumee, passed away September 11, 2025 in her home at Sunshine Communities. Kelly was born April 3, 1976 in Toledo Ohio to David and Naomi (Hall) Waterfield.

Kelly lived her life as a glass “half full” positive and somewhat fearless as she traveled on her journey of life, enjoying the family dog, roller coasters, horseback riding, swimming, and her morning coffee. She enjoyed books and audio books with the protagonist being a young girl or woman racing dog sleds, riding horses, solving mysteries, living with Artic wolves and especially the book series “Anne of Green Gables.”

Kelly’s social personality thrived while living in the Sunshine community she experienced a life of love, kindness, and caring and activities that included shopping, music concerts, movies, holiday events.

Kelly now spends her everlasting days with her Lord and Savior. Left to cherish her memory is her father, David A. Waterfield; brother Christopher Waterfield; sister-in-law Bonnie Waterfield; niece Maralissa Waterfield and her extended family of staff, caregivers and individuals at Sunshine. Kelly was preceded in death by her mother, Naomi.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sunshine Inc. of Northwest Ohio, (7223 Maumee Western Rd. Maumee, OH 43537) in Kelly’s memory.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 10:30 AM in Sunshine’s Spiritual Life Center, with visitation one hour before the service. A private burial will be held at Roth Cemetery in Monclova.
