Kelly M. Maciejewski, born April 7, 1963, in Toledo, Ohio, tragically passed away peacefully at her home in Lambertville, Michigan, on January 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her.
A proud graduate of Bedford High School in 1981, Kelly dedicated herself to a successful career at Kay Toledo Tag for 15 years before delightfully transitioning into her most cherished role as a mother. Her feisty spirit and big heart made her remarkably special, always finding ways to fill rooms with laughter. Kelly had an extraordinary ability to make people laugh until they were doubled over, showcasing her talent for humor that knew no bounds. She was kind-hearted, always ready to lend a helping hand, even if her short temper occasionally shone through, reminding everyone of her passionate nature.
Family was everything to Kelly. She is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Daniel Maciejewski, Jr., who stood by her side through life’s many adventures. Together, they enjoyed motorcycling, boating, fishing, camping, and traveling, creating many treasured moments. Kelly's pride as a loving wife was complemented by her immense joy in being a devoted mother to her daughter, who she fondly called Kitty, Ashley, and her husband Adam Prater, and her son, Daniel Maciejewski III and his wife Sessely. As a grandmother, she found endless delight in her beloved grandson, Connor Prater, whose laughter brought her immense joy.
She was deeply loved by her sisters, Michelle (Pete) Zografidies and Tracie Boling, who held a special place in her heart. Kelly also cherished her relationships with brothers-in-law David (Teresa) Maciejewski and Douglas Maciejewski, and sisters-in-law Karen (Brad) Westhoven and Lori (Mark) Duszynski. Her special nephew, Robbie Taylor, along with many other nieces and nephews, added further joy to her life.
Though she is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Juanita Winebarger, and her in-laws, Daniel and Patricia Maciejewski, Sr., as well as her sister-in-law, Brenda Rosson, the love and memories they shared will continue to inspire those who remain.
Kelly will be profoundly missed, but her laughter, kindness, and unyielding love will always echo in the hearts of her family and friends. She left an impression on everyone she came in contact with.
