Keith Kurdrick Payne

Keith Kurdrick Payne, age 71, of Toledo, OH passed away July 11, 2026 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Guyana, South America January 20, 1955.

Keith was preceded in death by his mother, Celestine Payne and sisters Lorraine Edwards and Claire Jamieson.

Family left to cherish his loving memories are his children Vonetta Payne, Esan Griffith, Candice Leacock, Nadine Dodson (and husband Delvin), and Jarren Payne (and wife Natalia). Grandchildren;Shuman, Aniyana, Alexis, Dien, Davien, Emerald and London.Siblings; Gloria Payne-Benons, Noreen Payne , Ena Isaacs Waveney Payne-Benn (and husband Gladstone), and Brian Payne (and wife Utah). Nieces and nephews; Conrad, Gail, Arrian, Annis, Laquinta, LeRoi, Brandon, Tasheola, Rashleigh, Alonica, Leroy (and wife Natalia), Donica, Nioka, Nichola and Noah. Great nieces and nephews; Milliena, Brandon Jr., Jaden, Kristen, Skyla, Kal-El and Kyle.Cousin of Lorna and siblings, Cora and siblings, Hazel and siblings and Walter and siblings.

The family will receive guests, Friday, July 31, 2026 at 1:00 PM - at Newcomer SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, OH (419-381-1900). The Memorial Service will follow Friday, July 31, 2026 at 2:00 PM.

Interment will be at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
